Inside Story – in the pink bedroom
by precious
Emma wears a draped Grecian feel evening dress from Alice by Temperley and her hair has been styled with an extremely creative and over-exaggerated volume, inspired by 18th century powdered wigs.
Our little Marie-Antoinette is an outrageous girl so her look reflects her eccentric personality. She is preparing to go out and party, but can’t quite decide what to wear, the short draped mini dress or the feminine long dress also from Alice by Temperley.
So many distractions and things to choose from, delectable cupcakes from the local Hummingbird Bakery sit on the table just waiting to be eaten and her lover has sent her flowers again from The Real Flower Company, whose gorgeous old fashioned roses are her favourite.
She is becoming intoxicated with her favourite fragrance from Angela Flanders – Rose Poudree. Ethereal top notes of roses, violets, iris and heliotrope emphasize the powdery quality of this delicious rose fragrance, which, on its soft gossamer base of raspberries, musk, ambrette seed and sandalwood is so evocative of 18th century France that fragrance expert James Craven says “the Du Barry lives on!”
